I am a physician from West Bengal India. Though I have no training in typography or visual arts, I took up making fonts as a hobby as volunteer member of Free Bangla Font Project , part of ankur project, an initiative to enable Bengali in Linux desktop.
All my fonts are free and open source and the sources are available in my Gitlab page. I only use free and libre tools for making fonts such as fontforge, fonttools and fontra
I had written an article in opensource.com on how I started making fonts and got involved in the open source movement
I have posted some font making videos in my youtube channel.
